Mari Susan Schoeffield-Payne

Beloved wife of Jeff and devoted mother of Cameron and Kathryn. She was a cherished Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend to so many. What is it exactly about Mari? It’s hard to say, chemistry I guess. She had the right combination. Her priorities were spot on. Her heart was bigger than the rest. Mari grew up with three brothers and three sisters in the Lake Erie town of Hamburg, New York. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Wagner Hood and her brothers and sisters. Mari fought a long hard battle with Multiple Myeloma. The end came peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at 7:45 PM on the evening of Saturday February 13, 2010. Mari possessed a unique grace and a caring presence. She was easy to like. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to share her life. Services are at Saint Josephs Catholic Church at 969 Ulysses St., Golden, CO 80401 at 10:00 AM Saturday, 2/27/2010.
