The Hon. Diane Y. Wray is a judge for the Buffalo City Court in the Eighth Judicial District of
New York. She was elected to the bench in 2012.

Wray earned a B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1980. She then continued her studies, completing a J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 1983 and an M.S.W. from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Social Work in 1996.

Prior to her election to the bench, Wray was a partner at Hughes and Wray from 2004 to 2011. Before that, she was an associate at Ward, Brenon and DiVita from 2002 to 2003. She has served as a member of the Attorney Fee Dispute Arbitration Program and the Family Court Mediation Panel of the New York State Unified Court System. She was also a volunteer mediator and arbitrator for the Dispute Settlement Center of the New York State Unified Court System.

Wray taught as an adjunct professor at Buffalo State College.
